Welcome to Verkalium.com (the “Site”), the official website for Verkalium: 4X Space Saga (the “Game”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, including our user forums, news and feature pages, and any other services we offer through the Site (collectively, the “Services”).

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 9 below, and your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  1. Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Site. If you are using the Site on behalf of a minor, you are responsible for ensuring that use complies with these Terms and any applicable laws.

  1. User Forums and Conduct

The Site includes forums where players can discuss the Game, play the free Demo, share content, and interact with one another (the “Forums”). By participating in the Forums, you agree to:

  • Treat other users with respect and refrain from harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior.
  • Post only content that you have the right to share and that does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
  • Not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  1. Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:

  • Scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users of the Site, including usernames, contact details, or any other personal information, whether through automated means or otherwise.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, networks, or any systems or infrastructure used to operate the Site.
  • Upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that contains viruses, malware, malicious code, or any other material designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to any system or data.
  • Use any automated system (including bots, spiders, or scrapers) to access the Site in a manner that sends more request messages than a human could reasonably produce in the same period, or that otherwise burdens our infrastructure.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security or access-control measures on the Site.
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this section, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting conduct to law enforcement authorities where appropriate.

The Site, the Game, and all related content, trademarks, logos, and materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Site or its content without our prior written consent.

Content you post to the Forums remains yours, but by posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Site and the Game.

The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or Services.
